I can live with the four-ports at 6Gb but I want to best ports to be running scratch drive in the Photoshop file-save drive. As I stated in a posting on another posting, I have a Gigabyte motherboard with a Marvell drive controller check out my system specs below. Talk about false advertising, and it’s been like that for years, since the X58 board days. Why are you the marvell controller port? I always see the drive in the partitioning sceen, which is also why I initially didn’t think that any extra drivers were needed.

Please check out our forum guidelines for info related to our community. Will the port still run at 6Gb? The manual only mentions the marvel drivers for raid and then it mentions two drivers of which only one is to be used with windows seven.

Unfortunately I don’t know personally how well this updated firmware works yetbut there are people talking highly about it in the french forums at Station Drivers.
I find it so frustrating that I cannot enjoy my new and blazing fast hardware with the optimal settings.
At the same time my games disk another 80gb SSD is becoming too small with the latest games gta5 and star citizen would barely fit on it, so i thought i could solve both problems by getting a new SSD for the games and put the two 80 disks in raid 0.

So, may be we have to come back to V 1. I am not certain that all Gigabyte motherboards use the PCIe 1. Intel Core i5 K, Disk Drives: Anyways, I’ve recently compared speeds again, this time at 4k to see which has better sysem performance.
